Gifting Recipe: Delicious Gluten Free Granola

One of my favourite Gifting Recipes: Delicious Gluten Free Granola

I’m sure you all have someone who is gluten free in your life.

Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to give them something that is especially for them?

If you know someone who’s gluten free, you understand how hard it can be for them to find tasty snacks. Whether it’s a friend, family member, or coworker, they might feel a bit left out during gatherings or when sweet treats come around.

How about putting a smile on their face with a jar of homemade gluten free granola? It’s a simple way to show you care about their dietary needs while giving them a delicious snack.

Granola is super versatile—great on yogurt, in smoothies, or just by the handful.

By making your own, you’re not just sharing a treat; you’re also sharing a bit of your creativity. Plus, it’s fun to experiment with different flavours to match their tastes.

Let's get into it - One of my favourite Gifting Recipes: Delicious Gluten Free Granola

Gluten Free Granola

Makes 5C

Ingredients

  • 3C mixed nuts-not walnuts as they cook faster than the rest and can burn

  • 1C Thread coconut

  • 1/2C Maple syrup

  • 2Tbsp coconut oil

  • 2tsp cinnamon

  • 1C gluten-free cornflakes/Rice Bubbles

  • 1/2C Buckwheat

  • 1 1/2 C Dried Fruit- your favourite roughly chopped

  • 1/2C coconut chips

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 160’C

  2. In a large bowl mix the first 5 ingredients together and lay out onto a oven tray.

  3. Bake for 15mins. Remove and stir pulling the edges to the middle and the middle to the edges so that everything is evenly baking. Bake for another 15mins, keeping an eye on it as it can brown too quickly.

  4. Remove from the oven and add in the cornflakes, Rice Bubbles , buckwheat and coconut chips and return to the oven for another 10mins.

  5. Remove from the oven and while still warm add in the fruit, stir together to warm and leave to cool.

  6. Store in a air tight container. This will last for 3 months.
